Versa Products, Inc Expands Factory

The management team at Versa chose to take the risk of expanding rather than jeopardize the potential for repeat business by not delivering on the day promised. “So far, it’s worked out well,” said Christopher Stormer, VP of Marketing. “Expanding the factory, hiring additional workers—many more specialized, and upgrading machinery was costly, but the increase in revenue will more than make up for the increased expenses by mid-fiscal year.”
In addition to creating additional jobs in a community where well-paying jobs are in demand, the expansion is also allowing Versa to round out their product lines. “We’ve become more efficient,” Stormer explained. “Because of that, we can delve into markets we weren’t really focusing on before.” Versa has plans to introduce several new products by the end of summer.

Our customers have the expectation that our computer furniture will meet certain standards when they open the box. I wasn’t willing to cut corners there, and risk sending our clients something that was incomplete, or imperfect.”
