The cart is decent but definitely a hassle to put together. Once assembled it's allright. I don't really have a need to readjust it at all so it work fine for me.
This cart works great for us. At first I thought that it wasn't sturdy enough to support the CPU, but it does and the cart doesn't tip. When loaded down, it can be a bit hard to maneuver but I don't think this can be helped by any type of change in design-- it's just the physics of putting something really heavy on the cart. Overall, it makes our lives easier to be able to keep these things mobile-- great for trade shows and showrooms which is how we mostly use ours.
This cart is terrific unless you're the one putting it together. (!!!) Once it's together, it's super solid but it's difficult to put together (I suggest having two people do it) and once everything is put on, it's not that easy to adjust. You basically have to adjust it at a typical height-- especially the CPU and leave it that way. The keyboard platform is a little easier but you can't adjust with the keyboard on the platform without it falling off. It would be graet if they would change the design to the pop-pin adjustment like some of the products have.
The product itself is great but it was a bit of a problem that the company sent us the wrong color. After waiting three days for it to arrive, we opened the box and had to either choose to send it back or just use it. We ended up keeping it. Although we use it every day, I just want to emphasize that it's really important to pay attention to details and not mis-label boxes.
Deluxe Diagnostic Fusion Cart - needs a larger keyboard/mouse shelf (it's too small for a normal size keyboard & mouse) - needs an LCD bracket/mount that will support the weight of an LCD without sagging/tilting downward (I've only got a 15" LCD panel mounted and it sags/tilts down all the time no matter how tight we twist the knob - the bracket is just a poor design) - the top piece of the adjustable pole can pull out of the bottom part of the pole without any stop mechanism (we were hoping that this cart was easily adjustable up and down - it sort of is, but not really - if your not very careful you can pull the top part of the pole out of the bottom part without warning and would have a somewhat heavy top pole piece with LCD attached and cabled in your hand - talk about a surprise) The cart appears to be solid and with a few changes could certainly be an exceptional value and product. Thanks, David
I would suggest adding instructions for raising and lowering the height of the computer stand (which is somewhat apparent but not that easy), as well as for any extra items, such as velcro dots? - not sure what we do with them. It might be nice to add hints about using the ties to keep computer cords tidy, etc. Otherwise, I thougt it was packed well and the assembly instructions were clear and concise. I think the quality is great, as well. Thank you!
the monitor does NOT go high enough, so we had to order a pole at a extra expense. This should be for standing as sitting as your description said, but only for shorter people, since the monitor is too low. Also when standing the monitor is very close to your head and you have to lean back to type and read. The monitor should be more adjustable to make it further from one's eyes.
