Great option for the small computer lab at our after school center. Not much room to work on the desk itself but nice and compact for the limited space we have.
For a small simple and compact computer desk, this one does the job. It was a bit of a hassle to put it all together but in the end it worked out. I most liked that the CPU has a shelf underneath the desk instead of having it rest on the floor like most compact desks seem to do. I got the grey desk and it's pretty nice.
I love split level desks in general as it give me more room to work and for my things while still allowing me to have a compact piece of furniture. I also love that this company it "green" and I know that my desk is made from recycled material. I don't know of any other companies that make that a priority.
This desk turned out to be ok, I mean nothing special. It looks like it does in teh picture and it would be better if it had a drawer or something to put pens and things. But really I mean it's just a desk so if you need something simple then it's good.and the free shipping is a nice touch. some places make the price go up a lot more when you add teh shipping.
I ordered a desk with two basic keyboard arms. The trays were never handled roughly and the tightening knobs were never tightened past the point where they needed to be. Despite that, three months ago, one of them stripped out and I had it replaced and now the other one is starting to go. It isn't stripped, but it allows the tray to slip out of position after a short while, which is what the first tray did before it stopped holding completely. Aside from that, I'm absolutely thrilled with my purchase. It's a shame that this one part doesn't hold up to the quality of the rest of the desk.
Everything was great, the instructions were easy to follow and everything went together easily. The desks look great in our library and everyone loves them.
Product was okay. Had a problem when incorrect color top shipped. Complete table replacement shipped w/ request to return original table. Received conflicting instructions - 1st, break down and ship back by UPS freight, then received word that carrier would pick up. Required multiple calls to finally get carton picked up in early July.
I think you have an excellent product range and quality. The minor issue I had was not with Versa Table but the shipping company; unfortunately this was out of Versa's control. But Versa did correct problem rapidly and I was surprised by their professionalism and courtesy. Way to go Versa Team.
Product seems to be working in good condition, we are actually mounting on a Luxury Coach which we Manufactor here at our facility. Thanks.
I think the directions could be written a little clearer. We have assembled 14 of 16 tables. There was no instruction as to when to add the wire chase that goes across the bottom of the desk. Also, the metal tabs on the side pieces had been pushed in too far and needed to be adjusted before they could be assembled. The hex wrench included is probably OK if you assembling one or two desks, but not for doing any quantity. We ended up using a hex bit with a flexible drive in a variable speed power drill. It made everything go much faster. We used the hex wrench as a final check to make sure everything was tight. The desks look great, I hope they function well in the long run. We will be redoing our room and instaling our new computers in the next two weeks and I'll keep you posted.
I had to alter the assembly instructions because the desk tops wouldn't line up to the holes correctly if I attached the cross supports to the poles. So I attached the cross supports directly to the desk top, then with the help of another, attached them to the poles. Also, the track for the keyboard tray was too long and wouldn't sit between the cross supports, so I need to return it. I emailed service, but have not received a response as to what the proper procedure is to return it and get a credit. I love the desk though and can see it will last for years and years.
