Computer Carts – When You Need Mobility

Posted on Tuesday 30 October 2007

What kind of work station can you use equally as easy while sitting or standing? I am talking about a work station based upon a mobile computer cart.

Computer carts are really great. They take up minimal space and hold all the computer components and accessories you need. Each platform is height adjustable so you can go from working in a chair to standing up with just a few quick adjustments.

Computer carts have safety and security clamps on each platform and are set upon locking casters. You can move the work station to where it is needed, or into storage, quickly and easily.

Versa Tables offers several different styles of computer carts or you can have one custom designed by our professionals.

A Good Chair Is An Investment In Your Health

Posted on Sunday 28 October 2007

I still remember my first computer desk. It was an old fashioned type desk that didn’t even have a keyboard tray. The worst thing though, was my chair. I sat in a regular kitchen table type chair for several weeks before I decided that I had to buy a real chair. My neck was stiff and my back was aching.

I got myself a really comfortable height adjustable chair. When I first sat down in it and rolled up to my desk it felt like I was in Heaven compared to the old chair.

A good chair is an investment in your own health and comfort. Don’t settle for an uncomfortable chair.

Monitor Arms Are Great

Posted on Thursday 18 October 2007

I just got a monitor arm for my computer desk. This thing is great, I don’t see how I ever made it without it.

Now I can position my monitor at just the perfect height and angle for me to sit back and relax. I was also amazed at how much the size of my desktop seemed to grow. A monitor arm moves your monitor up off the desktop surface giving you more room for your notepads and snacks.

Keyboard Trays Compare To Keyboard Arms

Posted on Sunday 14 October 2007

Most people have a retractable keyboard tray that slides in and out from under the desktop. A keyboard tray is generally a flat platform that rides on a set of wheels and rollers.

Keyboard trays are great, but when you find out about the keyboard arm you will probably want to do an upgrade.

A keyboard arm is much more than just a tray. The keyboard arm actually tilts and swivels which allows you to set it perfectly for your own comfort and ease of use.

Choosing The Right Office Chair

Posted on Friday 12 October 2007

When the time comes for you to buy new office furniture you will be faced with a lot of different choices. You know that you want to get good quality, but you also want to get the best price. Just remember that the cheapest furniture isn’t usually cheap in reality once you put it into use.

Take, for an example, an office chair. If you provide a low quality chair to your staff they will be uncomfortable and their performance will be hindered. This makes your choice in which chair to buy an important one. The more comfortable your staff is the less likely they will be to develop aches and pains or even carpal tunnel syndrome. Over time the extra productivity and morale among your staff will be well worth the cost of getting quality furniture.

Posted on Saturday 6 October 2007

Young children often experience difficulty when they are using their parents’ computer desk. Face it, children are smaller so it can be a challenge for them to even reach the keyboard or desktop.

If you have school aged children who need to use the computer for homework, study or play there are some things you can do to make it easier and more comfortable for them. Getting a nice height adjustable chair can make a big difference. It is a much better solution than stacking pillows in your current chair.

Other things you can do are to add a monitor arm and an adjustable keyboard arm. The monitor arm will allow you to tilt and swivel the monitor. The keyboard arm does more than just side in and out, it also tilts and swivels. Combine these with that height adjustable chair and your computer desk will be comfortable for people of all ages and sizes.
