Everyday more people around the world are joining in the fight to make a change in the damage that’s been done to our environment. There’s several things that you can do to help make the world a greener place!
Approximately 360 million ink and toner cartridges are used each year. Although, they’re fairly small, the huge number of them is a large problem. These can be recycled at most office supply stores, can be refilled or traded in for a discount when you buy new ones. Not only will you be helping the environment, you’ll be saving money!
Another way that you can help is to recycle all of your electronic equipment. The computers, monitors, scanners and other items used in the office contain toxic materials such as lead and mercury.
You can do your part to keep these chemicals out of our landfills. If the equipment still works and you’re just upgrading, you may want to consider donating them to non-profit organizations, such as a school. And, many manufacturers of these items will also accept them to be recycled when you purchase new ones.
You can even call your local recycling office to see what types of electronic equipment they accept. It may take a little more effort to recycle than it does to just toss things in the trash, but if we all do our part we can make the world a cleaner place for future generations!

I’d previously mentioned how a drafting table can be a big assest for any crafter or seamstress, now I’d like to talk about chairs. The old stable chairs are fine for some things, but if you’re constantly getting up and down, they can be quite a hassle.
Adding a rolling chair to your sewing table, or drafting table will eliminate the constant “scooting” in and out that a regular chair requires. Not only will it save you lots of trouble, it will save on the wear and tear on your flooring.
The ergonomic design of Versatables chairs will give you the back support you need to make those long sitting tasks less painful. And, the one touch seat adjustment can easily provide the right height for any table.

The most common office accident is falling down, it also accounts for the most disabling office accidents. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, office workers are as much as 2.5 times more likely to get a disabling injury from a fall than employees that work outside of the office.
There are many office hazards that contribute to falls such as, wet floors, low lighting, loose carpeting and wires. With the number of computers, printers and fax machines used in offices today, the wires seem to be never ending.
Aside from the eminent dangers to employees from these tangled masses of wires, bad cable management can also be a fire hazard. A quickly jerked wire can cause sparks that could easily get out of control.
The importance of providing a safer working environment for your employees can’t be stressed enough. And, although wiring is just one of the dangers, it’s an issue that can be dealt both quickly and easily.
Versatables offers several cable management kits to choose from, we have everything you’ll need to tame those unruley wires and make your office space a safer place.

The computers that you use in your business may or may not be your most expensive office investment, but with all the important information that’s stored on them, they can definitely become irreplaceable!
Having your CPU sitting on the floor can be very risky, a spilled drink, or a water leak from a nearby restroom and all of your valuable data could literally be gone in a flash!
A CPU holder is a small investment that can save you thousands of dollars. Aside from having to replace the CPU, the loss of the data it holds could actually slow your business down or bring it to a halt.
Losing that new design for your next product that you’ve paid someone to work on for months, or losing all of your customers orders could add up to huge losses for your company.
Not only will a CPU holder get your CPU up and away from danger, they’re also ergonomically beneficial to. With easier access there’s less bending and reaching and more knee room is provided for extra comfort!
