First off you want to have plenty of shelf and cabinet space for your purposes. This gives you a better ability to organize your tools and supplies. Now you are able to get what you need without looking for it.
Another good idea to neaten up the appearance of your office is to use a cable and wire management system to route your cables and wires safely and out of sight.
