Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, also known as Repetitive Strain Injury, is a chronic condition that can affect office workers. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is caused directly by poor ergonomics. Ergonomics refers to furniture and accessories that are specially designed to reduce stress on the user.
When purchasing computer furniture and accessories always opt for products that are ergonomically designed. An example is an adjustable chair. An adjustable chair is ‘ergonomic’ because the user can adjust it to their own best comfort.
