Comfort is Important and can Reduce the Risk of Pain

If you are anything like me you spend a lot of time sitting in your chair working at the keyboard. Working long hours in front of a computer has the potential of giving you a sore neck and back. Fortunately there are steps you can take to minimize and even avoid neck and back pain.
The two most important things are your chair and your keyboard. If you have a good quality chair that is both comfortable and adjustable and you have your keyboard on an adjustable keyboard arm you will be able to work in the greatest comfort and greatly reduce your risk of pain and stiffness.
It is also a good idea to take frequent rest breaks. Get up out of your chair and away from your desk and do something different for a few moments.
