Computer Keyboard Trays Reduce Injury and Make Workers More Comfortable

You’ve probably used a desk without a computer keyboard tray at some point in your life. Maybe you remember how difficult it was for you to type – lifting your arms and wrists to such an unnatural angle probably made your muscles ache. You may even have a repetitive stress injury from many years of using such poorly designed office furniture. Today’s office furniture is designed with better ergonomics in mind and also has many features that are important for professional work. You can buy adjustable chairs, ergonomic computer furniture, and other items that make it easier for you to perform your work. One of the best features you can have in the office is a computer desk with a keyboard tray or keyboard arm.

A keyboard tray is underneath the desk and is on rollers so that it can be pulled out when the computer is in use and hidden when other work is being done. A keyboard arm is also a great feature because it can be moved to different areas of the desk. If you have a large desk, this is an excellent feature to have because you can perform one type of work on one side of the desk and then move your keyboard arm to the other side of the desk and perform a different task. We have a large line of computer desks that offer this feature that increases your comfort and cuts down on strain.
