Ergonomically Designed Classroom Furniture For Better Learning

Posted on Wednesday 5 December 2007

Just as workers are more productive when they are comfortable so are students better able to learn.

If a student is uncomfortable they will not be able to relax and devote their full attention to the instructor and the materials at hand. On the other hand when they are relaxed they will be more likely to enjoy the class and benefit from learning.

Be sure that students are able to adjust their chairs. Accessories such as keyboard trays can also make your classroom desks more user friendly. For more information check out our section on Ergonomics.
