According to the PIERS Global Intelligence Solutions latest report furniture imports are down over a two year period, while at the same time exports from the U.S. have been steadily on the rise.

The PIERS group also stated that furniture exports from the U.S. are expected to rise each year by about 3%.

Much of the furniture products exported from the U.S. goes to Asia, Japan, China and Great Britain.
