Sun Capital, an investment firm located in Boca Raton, Florida recently purchased 250,000 additional shares of stock in Furniture Brands International, bringing their total shares to more than 4.3 million which is 8.9% of FBI’s stock.

Sun Capital has been increasing their stake of ownership in FBI during the recent months. There have been rumors in the industry that Sun Capital intends to acquire control over FBI.
