A wall mount computer station is an ideal alternative to a traditional computer desk when:

1. Space constraints leave little room for a full computer desk and chair. Wall mounts take up less room, but still provide a fully functional computer work space.

2. When standing is an option for the user. If the computer station is for public use, and serving as many users as possible is important, a wall mount can be much better than a sit-down desk. Standing users typically finish their business more quickly than those sitting, making the wall mount computer more available to other users.

3.When locking the computer and preventing it’s use at certain times. A wall mount computer station can easily be equipped with hinged platforms that fold up and lock the keyboard. This feature alone prevents use when the computer is not supervised or at times the computer is not available, but can remain in public view.
