Traditional classroom computer desks have evolved over the years, but still take up significant space– often at a premium in learning institutions. A viable alternative to the traditional computer desk, are wall mounts. Wall mounts are fully functioning computer workstations secured directly to the wall. Although the user gives up the luxury of mobility from compter desks equipped with casters, there are definite benefits to having wall mounts in the classroom.

Wall mounts have lifting platforms that allow administrators to lock up the keyboard when not in use and prevent unauthorized use. They also work from a sitting or standing position, making them more versatile. They take up very little room and when not in use, they are practically flush with the wall, making them perfect for tight spaces and areas that serve multiple functions.
